ADHD Dude Membership Courses by Age: Your Roadmap to Structure, Skills & Independence | Ryan Wexelblatt, LCSW
If you’re like most parents I work with, you’ve already tried everything to help your child with ADHD. You’ve read books, taken advice from professionals, and maybe even tried multiple therapies—yet you’re still dealing with constant reminders, power struggles, and confusion about what actually works.
That’s why I created the ADHD Dude Membership Site—to give parents a clear, research-supported path that teaches the skills ADHD kids need based on how their brains function. All courses are included in the membership and organized by what they teach, not just your child’s age, so you can get what you need when you need it.
Let me walk you through it.
Start With the Flagship Programs: Parent Behavior Training That Works
Two flagship parent behavior training courses are at the core of the ADHD Dude Membership. These courses are the foundation of the ADHD Dude approach and are designed to help you lead your child with more structure and less stress.
1. Capable & Confident (Ages 4–7)
If your child is in early childhood, this course helps you stop yelling, bribing, and over-accommodating. Instead, you’ll learn how to teach cooperation, emotional regulation, and behavioral flexibility in a way that actually works. You’ll also learn how to respond to behavior without reinforcing it—and help your child realize how capable they truly are.
2. Scaffolding Better Behavior (Ages 8–17)
This course gives you the tools to reduce arguing, handle inflexibility, manage sibling conflicts, and build accountability without daily power struggles. It’s based on evidence-informed behavior strategies aligned with how ADHD brains learn. You’ll get step-by-step tools to help your parenting become more effective and less reactive.
These are not generic parenting tips. These are practical, ADHD-specific strategies built from both personal and professional experience.
Build Executive Functioning & Social Skills: Add-On Programs That Support Real Growth
After getting started with the flagship programs, deepen your child’s development with these essential courses, included in your membership.
3. Executive Function Crash Course (Ages 8–17)
This course teaches core skills like task initiation, time awareness, and task persistence—so your child can move from relying on you for constant prompts to doing things independently. You’ll learn how to provide the structure that helps your child build independence over time.
4. Socially Smarter (Ages 4–17)
This course goes beyond vague advice like “be nice” or “make eye contact.” It teaches your child the hidden rules of social interaction using clear, concrete strategies. Your child will learn cognitive flexibility, perspective-taking, and practical connection skills designed specifically for ADHD brains.
Tackle Common Daily Struggles with Mini-Courses
Daily routines are often the most stressful part of the day. These mini-courses focus on the most common problem areas and show you exactly what to do.
5. Creating Daily Expectations
This course teaches you how to stop nagging and start leading by creating consistent expectations that improve cooperation and behavior. It helps you move from “high giving, low expectations” to “high empathy, high expectations” in your home.
6. Better Bedtime Scaffolding
Bedtime can be one of the hardest times for families with ADHD. This course gives you a simple plan for building a calm, consistent bedtime routine that works—without repeated reminders or nightly meltdowns.
One Membership, All Courses—For Every Stage of Development
Whether your child is starting school or preparing for college, the ADHD Dude Membership grows with your family. Every course is included, so you can focus on the skills your child needs now—and be ready for what comes next.
